Nashinoki is a family-run inn
in a quiet neighborhood of Kyoto, the former capital of Japan for
a millennium until it was moved to Tokyo. It is located just north
of Kyoto Imperial Palace between Doshisha University and Kamo River.
For many tourists, it offers easy access to subway, extensive city
bus services and Keihan train for sightseeing or shopping.

 |
| The Owner Keiji Yamamori and his wife,
Toyoko, have been running the inn since 1970. All of the rooms
are Japanese style with tatami mat and futon for sleeping.
Visitors from around the world stay at Nashinoki because of
the friendly and warm hospitality offered by the Yamamoris.

with Toyoko Yamamori, who has an expertise in ancient Egypt
and hierograph. Both Keiji and Toyoko also enjoy travel abroad
